Check Tyre Pressure to Avoid Tyre Wear

by Cooly Autom on June 20, 2010

Keeping the correct air pressure in your tyres is as important as giving your engine a tune up. With the right amount of air pressure, your tyres wear longer, save fuel, enhance handling and prevent accidents. The effects of not maintaining correct air pressure are poor fuel consumption, loss of tyre life and bad handling.

Check your tyre pressure:
* We recommend checking tyre pressure every week, while the tyres are cold – and don’t forget the spare.
* Different driving conditions require different pressures so if you’re not sure check what is the correct pressure for your conditions.
* Under-inflated tyres, when used on hard roads can lead to increased and uneven wear.

If you’re not sure about any of this please feel free to ask.
